This master piece is a triangular shaped khalchi bag from andhra pradesh southern India mathuria tribe. these bags are given as dowry gifts from parents to their daughter and from daughters to their daughters.this bag has beautiful cross stitch embroidery in the center and the border is embroidered with straight stitch.the colors are all natural dyes from stones and plants.the inside of the bag has beautiful wax dye.this piece was made during 1920 -1930.
