Condition: As new, unread read, 4 volume set of "The Hobbit, "The Fellowship of the Ring", "The Two Towers", "The Return of the King" and "The Fellowship of the Ring" are in new custom designed foil lined dust jackets. A custom made cloth lined slipcase with red labels on two sides is included. The Hobbit is brand new and has never been read and the other titles are almost new. The three trilogy titles are black cloth hard covers with gold emblems on the front covers. The Hobbit is a new hard cover with the title in gold on the spine. The Trilogy titles have black end pages in the front and the back. There are no signs of ownership inside. The covers are clean and the corners sharp. The side page edges are bright white and mark free. The covers are clean and unmarked. The three titles of the Trilogy each have 18 by 16 inch pristine foldout maps in the back. The Hobbit has map end pages in the front and back and full page color illustrations by the author throughout. This 3 volume trilogy set was published in 2002 to be released to coincide with the release of the first Lord of the Rings movie.
