La famille Galitzine ou Golitsyne est la deuxième plus grande et plus noble maison princière de Russie. Les Golitsyne revendiquent leur ancienneté dans la dynastie Russe des Gediminas qui existe depuis le huitième siècle.

Dessinateur lithographe, André Durand est né le 5 mai 1807 à Amfreville-la-Mivoie (Seine-Maritime, Haute-Normandie).

Élève d'Eustache Hyacinthe Langlois (1777-1837) à Rouen, il expose au Salon de 1833 à 1864. Lors de sa deuxième participation il présente deux dessins sur le Bourbonnais (1835).

The Galitzine or Golitsyn family is the second largest and noblest princely house in Russia. The Golitsyns claim their seniority in the Russian dynasty of Gediminas which has existed since the eighth century.

Lithographer designer, André Durand was born on May 5, 1807 in Amfreville-la-Mivoie (Seine-Maritime, Haute-Normandie).

A pupil of Eustache Hyacinthe Langlois (1777-1837) in Rouen, he exhibited at the Salon from 1833 to 1864. During his second participation he presented two drawings on the Bourbonnais (1835).
