An unusual Victorian Gothic revival cast iron door knocker designed by Kenrick. It features an ominous seated vampire bat above the knocker hinge. The knocker has an integrated strike plate. Both threaded bolts are present and appear to be fixed into the cast by design. The slot in the middle would have has a letter box face plate which would also have has the Kenrick brand cast into it. This is missing, but is only useful if you are to fit it over a vertical letter box hole in your door.

Total height is 24cm (9.5 inches) and width is 11.5cm (4.5 inches).

Condition: The knocker has all over surface rust which has not penetrated into the iron. Some original black paint still present. The knocker operates well. The slot in the middle should have a letter box face plate. This is missing.
