This Toshiba Portege R100 is a blast from the past and is being offered for sale with a genuine Toshiba power supply unit.
This notebook was launched in the mid-noughties with a price tag of over £1000 and runs the original Toshiba build of Windows XP pro installed on the [1.8"] 60GB HDD and was designed to be an ultra-portable and quiet - the battery is still holding a charge and the second clip-on battery is included - everything still works as it should.
The original 60GB HDD is a 1.8" IDE drive but is returning HDD#0 error and so I replaced it with a compact flash drive and adapter [an SSD so it runs quicker and quieter
