Wheels April 1963
Wheels is an Australian car magazine owned by “ARE Media” who
acquired it in 2020. Wheels Magazine is sold in Australia and New Zealand
only and was founded in May 1953 by Ray Yeomans. Since 1963 Wheels annually announces
its’ “Car of the Year”, an award created by Bill Tuckey. Wheels Magazine is
highly regarded by Australian and New Zealand car enthusiasts and makes for a
great read, covering every aspect of
car culture.
For sale is an April 1963 edition of Wheels Magazine featuring the Ford Fairlane 500
and the Humber Vogue for 1963, along with an interesting in depth article on
Piston Engines vs Rotary vs Gas Turbines. The condition I would describe as 9/10,
excellent condition for its age of 60 years. This magazine has some excellent
articles for Ford, Peugoet, Humber, MG, Lotus and Triumph enthusiasts making it
a worthwhile addition to your collection of motoring memorabilia.
