On offer is this vintage circa 1940 powder compact measuring 7 cm square and pancake thin. The compact is made of gold tone metal with machine faux tortoise shell enamel base and lid. The lid is further decorated with gold tone metal floral central panel with gold tone metal banding. The compact has firm hinge and secure catch and opens to reveal a framed mirror under the lid and empty powder well in the base.

This vintage powder compact is offered in good condition. The case has no dents or dings. The gold tone metal has no tarnish and the enamel surfaces have no chips, losses or wear. The mirror has some age spots but retains a good reflections. Thank you for looking.
