>Offered here is an old and original 1980's PENINSULA OILERS minor league baseball pennant!! Please see all four photos and read the history below as they are an important part of my description. This uncommon full-sized vintage baseball pennant measures approximately 30" x 12" and features flexible white felt with silk-screened red and black graphics and lettering, along with a black strip of felt along the left edge. The Peninsula Oilers played their home games at Coral Seymour Memorial Park in Kenai, Alaska. The Oilers were a college summer baseball club in the Alaska Baseball League (ABL), and their name refers to the Kenai Peninsula region; their logo is present on the pennant, including an outline of the State of Alaska. The team was founded in 1974, and believe the offered pennant to be from the 1980's. >Players who played on Oilers teams over their history include: Dave Stieb, Atlee Hammaker, Jimmy Key, John Olerud, Frank Viola and J.T. Snow and several first-round picks including J.D. Drew
