Elmo Super 8 Sound 650S with microphone attachement and leather casing from 1977 or 1978.

Camera is in great condition for an almost 50 year old antique. Only minor signs of use with some scuff marks and minor scratches. Glass is all clear with no damage. All buttons work perfectly, no sticking or jamming.

The camera powers on and motor turns well, I haven’t tested the filming capability as don’t have any film at my disposal. However was working perfectly fine when it was put away, so 99% sure it’ll work like new.

Only major flaw is the microphone, it was working fine but the battery was left in the case and caused corrosion (see photos). Unsure if this has caused any damage to the internals.

Case is in great condition, only a few scuffs and scratches.

Would be perfect for a collector or for a filming project (even if used as a prop as these units looks great).
