[USED] Gibson J-185 12 String Vintage Sunburst [Made in 2005]

The J-185 has a 16-inch body that is slightly smaller than the J-200 and is easy to hold and handle.The short production period from 1951 to 1958 makes it a very rare model in the vintage market, and it is sold at a high price.

The Maltese cross inlay on both sides of the bridge, which is only used in this model, and the parallelogram inlay position mark that is common to Hummingbird, Dove, Southern Jumbo, etc., make the decoration not too flashy and very stylish!

The J-185 12-string has received a lot of attention because it was used by Mr. Paul during his performance in Japan in 2013, and because it was used live by Mr. Kazuyoshi Saito.

The nut width is approximately 48mm. The L.R.Baggs Lyric pickup system has been installed as an afterthought, so it can be used as an electric acoustic guitar.

There are some small scratches and paint cracks overall, but there is almost no wear on the frets and there is plenty of room on the truss rod, so you can use it at the appropriate string height.

There is some paint damage on the top of the head due to the use of a clip-on tuner, and some paint pulling that may have occurred when the strap pin was hit perpendicular to the neck heel, but it can be used without any problems at present.

It has been a long time since it was released as a new, limited edition model, and there are extremely few opportunities to see it on the market. If you are looking for it, please hurry.
