"MARTIN" is a long-established brand manufactured since 1833. Unlike styles 28 and 45, which are popular among the many models, style 21 has a core fan base and is positioned as a slightly maniac model. In fact, few people may know that the single/double O size Style 21 has a long history, dating back to 1869. The OO-21, made in 1979, was manufactured 110 years after its birth. The spruce top, rosewood sides and back, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and black pickguard have been replaced, but the lacquer treatment has been applied for a nice texture. Square rod, Marquetry back strip, rosewood veneer, 12F joint, slotted head, 47.6mm wide nut. The pegs were replaced with recent AGED specification GOLDEN AGE, non-scalloped X bracing. It is characterized by a very fat start and a popping sound. It has an excellent mid-range embrace, high resolution, and has just the right amount of sparkling overtones, making it a pleasant sound with a sparkling and expansive tone even though it's a thick sound. The crack from the lower part of the curve on the back 1st string side to the bottom, and the Martin crack on the outside have been neatly repaired. There are some scratch marks on the top, but all of them have been partially touched up and fixed at great expense. You can tell that this is a musical instrument that has been cherished. There are some other capo scratches and scratches on the back of the neck, but overall it is in good condition. Good playing condition including neck and body. The setting is easy to play. A comfortable fit and a cool tone that is pleasant to the ear. Comes with original hard case.
