Description

L-09 30TH ANNIVERSARY made in 1997 is now in stock. This is a rare "Anniversary" model produced in limited quantities to commemorate Raribee's 30th anniversary. Although it has been nearly 30 years since it was new, it is in near-mint condition, having been stored in a case for most of the time. Each model was only available in small numbers domestically, so you don't have many chances to see them on the market.

16 inch L size body, top material is premium grade spruce, side and back are Indian rosewood, mahogany neck, nut width: 43.8 mm (actual measurement), 25.5 inch (648 mm) scale, ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge. The 12th fret has a vine white pearl inlay, the body binding is multiple wood, the fingerboard binding is ivoroid cell, and the rosette ring is decorated with abalone, making it a beautiful and elaborate instrument. It may be hard to tell in the photo, but a transparent Golpe board pickguard is attached. The rotomatic tuner with the brand logo engraved and the wooden knob are eye-catching.

It features a 648mm scale with a firm sense of tension, an extended high tone with sustain, and a well-responsive sound with a firm mid-bass.

The nut width is wide, but the neck thickness is thin, so the grip has good playability.

It has a spacious 16-inch L (Laribee) body, so it has a good sound in the middle and low frequencies, and can be used for both flat pick and finger picking.

This instrument has been carefully stored, so there are no visible scratches. There are small scratches the size of a pen tip on the top that can be seen when held up to the light, and there are slight scratches on the sides and back of the body from buttons on clothes. The gloss of the painted surface retains the luster of when it was new, but after 30 years of use, you can see cracks in the conduit when you hold the painted surface up to the light. There is almost no wear on the frets.

The ivory cell of the fingerboard binding has slightly shrunk due to aging, and there is a gap between it and the nut, but there is no problem in practical use. The neck back and fingerboard surface are also beautiful.

The string height is also set low for ease of playing, with the 6th string: 2.3 mm and the 1st string: 1.9 mm above the 12th fret. There is also plenty of room for tightening the truss rod.

With its exquisite balance of rich overtones and delicate, glossy high-pitched strings, I think this model is especially suited for finger pickers who carefully play each note with their fingers. I think that the accompaniment of a song, the solo guitar of an instrumental song, and the calm design make it a model that you will never get tired of and will use for a long time.

This is a special model where you can feel the attention to detail in the materials that is unique to an anniversary model. Original hard case and new tags are also included. Recommended for those looking for it.
