“MANY SHADES OF GREY” – HERON WATERCOLOUR , SIGNED, MOUNTED AND FRAMED

I took my inspiration for two bulrush watercolour paintings from artwork on the cruise ship we were on, but I adapted it. It is part of a series of five watercolours inspired by my recent Caribbean cruise, as the last photos show. The larger painting with kingfishers and a heron is called “I saw that fish first!” There’s also a single kingfisher picture, plus two paintings of a frog, using photos taken in the Martinique Botanical Gardens as inspiration.

This Heron is framed in a new Dunelm essentials range frame.

Approx: 18” x 12.5” frame; 11.5" x 8" opening.

I’ve hung it on my wall for the photos using a piece of cord attached to the provided metal hook. It would hang correctly if I used a wall picture hook which protrudes slightly more than mine do.
