Navy blue tulle and lace prom dress. No makers label.

Took a gamble and bought this from one of those (dodgy?) overseas suppliers, not knowing whether it would be any good or not, and I'm happy to say that our experience was good.

A lovely dress. Well made with decent quality fabrics.

There are no labels in this and I don't remember the size we bought.
The waist measures about 42 inches...bust about 46 - 48"...difficult to measure accurately with the bust cups. The lining is quite full so I don't think the hip size matters.
Looking at UK size charts for ladies dresses...(and sizes vary so much between brands)...I'm going to say this is about a size 22 or 24? I think my daughter had a few garments in size 22 at this time so it sounds about right.

Lace bodice and sleeves. Boning in bodice. Bust cups.
Wide neckline for the dress to sit off the shoulders. Dress fastens with a centre back zip.

There are several layers to the skirt. Top layer of tulle with a deep lace border...then there are three more tulle layers. All this is over a satin skirt with an attached lining beneath it.

Dress originally had a train which my daughter hated so it's been professionally shortened to get rid of the train and to shorten it to her required length.

Length of dress measured down the side from the underarm to the hem is about 50 inches.

Polyester fabric. Washable. It was washed after it was worn and it's been stored away ever since.

No rips or holes but there are some fine snag lines in the tulle in places, probably from jewellery which has caught the fabric.

Postage will be 2nd Class Parcel.
