You are bidding on a great vintage Busch Rapid Aplanat No. 5 Ser. D F:8, R.O.J.A. vorm Emil Busch Rathenow Lens. It has a very solid brass body and is mounted on a 6" x 6" lens board. It is intended for large format photography and is in excellent condition. I believe it dates to the early 1900's. Lens height is about 4 inches. The front opening is about 3-1/2" (86mm). Lens aperture opening is 54MM. 

Emil Busch (1820-1888) was a maker of fine optics in Rathenow Germany starting in 1872.
