The new American Professional II Stratocaster is the latest model of the popular American Professional II Stratocaster, featuring the popular Mystic Surf Green color and 1-piece maple neck. This is a dead stock mint condition guitar made in 2022, but the pickguard and the back panel protection sticker are still intact, almost like new.
The body is made of high quality alder wood which supports the royal Strat sound. The weight is slightly heavier at 3.64kg, but to compensate for the light weight and the thin wire image of single coil, a thicker and more resonant sounding wood was selected. The neck is made of 1-ply maple for good sound transmission. This is a high-quality maple with a rift-sawn grain that glitters depending on the angle and has a fleck line, which is a proof of the hardness of the wood. The bridge is equipped with a modern spec two-point synchronized tremolo, and the pop-in arm eliminates unnecessary play, allowing for the expression of fine arming nuances. The use of a cold-rolled steel block improves sustain, clarity, and high-end sparkle. In addition, playability has been improved with a carefully rolled-off edge Deep C-shaped neck with a “Super-Natural” satin finish for extremely smooth playing, and a newly designed neck heel for a comfortable feel and easy access to high positions. The controls are a classic 5-way set. Controls include a 5-way selector, master volume, front/middle tone, and rear tone, and a treble bleed circuit that allows the volume to be turned down while maintaining EQ balance. Other features include 22F narrows with tall frets, 9.5 “R fingerboard, 3P pickguard, black dot markers, Fender Standard Cast tuners, head side adjustable truss rod, spaghetti logo and small head, The 4-point joint plate with micro-tilt is also a feature of this guitar.
The pickups are V-Mod II Stratocaster pickups, a further upgrade of the V-Mod pickups developed under the supervision of Tim Shaw, who was also involved in the development of Gibson's commonly known “New PAF” pickups. Three V-Mod II Stratocaster pickups are equipped. Each pickup uses three different types of Alnico magnets on the plain string side and the wound string side, which is a groundbreaking construction. The sound is dignified with a powerful bass range when driven and sweetness when clean, and can be used for a wide range of applications from jazz and blues to rock and roll.
Finally, as for the condition, this guitar was made in 2022 and has been carefully stored by the previous first owner for collection purposes, so it remains in dead stock condition with the protective stickers on the pickguard and back panel remaining as when it was shipped from new. If you look around nervously, there are some scuffs and scratches on the protective seal and some string scuffs on the frets at the level of trial playing, but still, at a conservative estimate, more than 95% of the guitar is left. The neck is in good condition and the truss rod is almost unused as the neck has had almost no movement. The guitar comes with a complete set of accessories, including the certificate (see images), and the original deluxe hard case, which is in good condition.
This is the latest model of the Amepro series, the most popular guitar series made by Fender USA. This one in particular is a dead stock mint condition, almost as good as new, and in better condition than the slightly scratched outlet guitars that have been on display in stores for a long time. The SSS layout, Mystic Surf Green, and Maple neck are rarely found in the used market.
