A lovely Myott son and co, England Jug or pitcher, 1930’s.

hand painted in a typical art deco abstract flower pattern in colours of orange black yellow green and brown on a creamy buttermilk ground. Reminiscent of Clarice Cliff, a big influence at this time.

It does have a couple of chips to the underside rim and a faint hairline open (please see photos). Otherwise they are no further chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. The colours and glaze are vivid and bright.

Sizes approximately 20.5cm high by 16cm wide by 12cm deep.

A great example of art deco pottery to add to the collection, it will be packed with care!
