Up for auction is a large poster marking the celebration of the centenary of the electric tram in Porto, Portugal, 1895 to 1995.

Tram 22 featured in the poster, in front of the buiding which houses the tram museum, was acquired by Companhia Carris de Ferro do Porto, (C.C.F.P.), in 1905 from the Starbuck Car and Wagon Company of Birkenhead, this vehicle was initially a trailer car. With the emergence of electric traction in 1895, this car was motorized and began to operate as an electric tram. It was restored according to its original design in 1992, and put on dsplay in the museum in Porto.

Printed in Portugal and purchased from the Museu do Carro Electrico, (Tram Museum) in Porto. It has never been displayed and has been stored away in a mailing tube.
