This is a hard to find, rare? 1st edition, FIRST PRINTING, “ART GLASS NOUVEAU” book, published in 1967. It is a hardcover edition with a plastic coated dust jacket and was authored by Ray and Lee Grover. The book contains over 400 full-color pictures showcasing unique and beautiful art glass pieces from the Nouveau period.

The book is in good condition to very good condition. No rips, tears, writing, folds, stains on any pages, but a general yellowing of pages. The spine and cover are good, some wear to the white lettering and fade to the edges (top/bottom) of the lovely, shimmering blue cloth cover. The dust jacket shows wear and tear - see photos. It would be a welcome addition to book collection? and/or a boon to art glass collectors expanding their knowledge. There are amazing examples of antique art glass seldom seen, museum quality and all beautifully photographed in color - 424 plates with total 231 pages. Short paragraphs give some details about the makers, (Steuben, Tiffany, Fry, Findlay, Loetz and more) and time frames.
