Has NOS vintage preamp tubes, the KT88s are new manufacture gold lion tubes. amp works great was recapped while back 1 time. amp works as designed and sounds great. sold as is no returns or refunds for any reason. item will be double boxed, tubes and tube coolers and cables in separate box. price includes professionally packed, insured included in price for continental US only I was quoted 200.00 for the shipping and packing, all others paying shipping and fees.
Has misc scratches dings and marks but in good condition cosmetically but sound wise great.

12SN7 sound better as do 6SN7 in place 12AU7 I went with 12SN7 because and definitely the price world class versions 10.00 dollars a tube HAHA!
Just had a recap initiated, all caps replaced with Mundorf, Inchon, muse, a few other super high ends caps see new picture. Cost was over 300.00 in caps and 200.00 labor. Also added gold and silver fuses. See added picture of progress of refurb/mod/upgrade. Also replaced all the tubes. Amp will now last another 10 years easy.
will add aftermarket power cord my choice, I have many all costing 150.00 or more free.
Back from recap sounds hmmmmm lol well much better nice quiet bias better too. lol. of course its way better all new caps.
| power is 40 watts 8 ohms triode and 60 watts UL they double at 4 ohms, but you have to switch wires coming from output transformer to speaker terminals.
I run at 8 listened to both triode and UL, 4 and 8 ohms. For less stress on tubes I us triode and 8 ohms my speakers are 2 4 6 and ohms.
age I don't know ill reach out to rogue. can be upgraded to st 90 replace boards and different tubes.
I am selling to medical problems, in a wheelchair handicapped now. I have 5 systems worth equipment, ill keep 1 out of leftovers. | |
