1944 WW II Christmas card, printed in Belgium, from XXX Army Liaisons Corps, showing leaping Boar, Formation Badge, of the 30th Army Corps as worn by the Belgian Military Liaison Detachment.

XXX Corps it then served in the Allied Invasion of Normandy in June 1944. In September 1944, it formed the Garden (cross land) contingent of Operation Market Garden; due to the failure of the Market (airborne) contingent to seize the bridge at Nijmegen, XXX Corps arrived too late at the subsequent (25 km (16 mi)) – and ultimate – Arnhem bridge, effectively resulting in the loss of the British 1st Airborne Division in the prolonged Battle of Arnhem.[1] XXX Corps continued to serve in the Netherlands, and finally in Operation Veritable in Germany until May 1945.

Probably sent from liberated Holland.

Scruffy. As shown, but under the dust and dirt should clean up well.
