P&H Pawling & Harnischfeger Tool Company Quality Service Cast Iron Sign. Cast iron and Heavy. This is a vintage cast iron P&H sign/emblem. The Pawling & Harnischfeger Company was started 1884 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Throughout the years, the company moved from being involved with industrial machine components to industrial crane manufacturing and eventually earth moving machinery. By the mid 1920s, P&H mining equipment had made its way around the entire world. In 2017 Komatsu acquired the P&H brand, which had, throughout the years, continued to apply the strong focus on quality and service that it inherited from co-founders Pawling and Harnischfeger back in 1884. The original sign is a very cool find in Northern Wisconsin (no crane attached). Measures approximately 18” L x 10 1/2" W x 3/8" It looks like the sign may have been repainted but it is the original. Weighs about 7 pounds 14 ounces.

Condition is as is. A green paint was applied at some time in its’ life. There is rust showing through all over. Please see the pictures for those details and overall condition. The hanging holes are intact. Thank you for looking.
