Up for sale is an Antique German/Austrian Demitasse Chocolate Cup & Saucer Set. Circa 1850s-1870s.

The set features a nice form with a pink/white background color and pink/white flowers with green leaves on one side of the body. The saucer has a nice moulded form with pink color around the border/rim. The base of the cup has an impressed "574" mark, the saucer is not marked.

THE PINK COLOR IS A LITTLE LIGHTER THAN HOW IT SHOWS IN THE PHOTOS.

There is minor wear to the decoration and stain and there are typical manufacturing imperfections throughout both pieces as seen in the photos. Otherwise the set is in great condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing. Overall the set still displays beautifully.

Measurements are approximately:

Cup:

3 1/8" Tall to Rim.

2 1/4" Rim Diameter.

3 1/8" From Rim to end of Handle.

1 1/2" Base Diameter.

Saucer:

3/4" Tall to Rim.

4 3/4" Rim Diameter.

2 3/4" Base Diameter.
