I searched high and low for this car and had it trucked from Adelaide as it is increasingly difficult to get quick, fun cars in manual particularly in a wagon body or with any semblance of practicality.

THE BAD

- Car needs new clutch - undrivable at present

- slow head gasket leak

never had any overheating issues at all but had the car get a full check over at well known Subaru Specialist in Brendale and asked for them to check the head gasket prior to me spending more money on the vehicle for the clutch - head gasket reportedly had very slow leak on second day of running after several hours. So although not currently affecting vehicle drivability could go at any moment which is unfortunately common to Subarus.

Hence I have decided to part ways with the vehicle as is, I have not put any sealants or stop leaks in the cooling system to give any future owners headaches.

- tear in drivers seat

- some intermittent power window issues common to this car

otherwise

- 19 inch aftermarket rims

- HKS turbo back exhaust

- slightly lowered (?king springs I believe)

- nice tune on engine done by Subaru specialist in Adelaide prior to purchase

- Harmon Kardon speakers

- sunroof - operates fine

- sat nav

- Subaru tow bar

- dark tint - no bubbles

- car currently registered in QLD but will not pass roadworthy obviously until clutch is replaced

has been a great car prior to the clutch going, never overheated, knocked, blew smoke etc, has a lovely note from the exhaust and gearbox operated smoothly

only 2 Subaru Liberty GTs wagons with manual on carsales at the moment, asking 16 and 18k.

If you are able to do some of the work yourself you could potentially get a bargain.
