The front pouch lining material is loose has an oily feel which is usual for vintage items made with Antron Lycra. The liner can be washed or removed to remedy this.

The Lycra in the cotton body of the shorts is in good condition and is very tight and stretchy.

The cotton Lycra has a very thick feel to it and is very well constructed.
