1814 Verge Fusee pair cased pocket watch solid silver cases in good condition not working, the two solid silver cases are in good condition with no bad scratches dents or staining, it does have some wear small marks and a few small dents, both cases have the same silver hallmarks teh Lion for 925 silver a London hallmark a date letter fir 1814 and a case makers mark W. J, the outer case button and hinge are in good condition and working has they should, the watch case is hinge and bullseye glass are in good condition and all so works has it should, both cases have the same silver hallmarks the Lion for 925 silver a London hallmark a date letter for 1814 and a case makers mark W. J, open the front cover of the watch case push the button in at the bottom of the dial and the movement will swing open, the movement looks very clean but it's not working, it's key wound and set a key will be supplied with a fusee cone which is chain driven with a verge escapement 4 round pillars which the full plate sits on a plain balance cock with a diamond end stone with a steel balance wheel, the movement is signed by Elisha Duke street St James London, all the movement parts are there, push the movement back down and the button is not holding the movement is place, the dial is white enamel with black Arabic numbers it has no chips hairlines or staining just a few small marks it's just in very good condition, both the gold hands are there and in good condition, with the key supplied you can wind and set the hands has it should, but it's not working i think the 3rd wheel pivot is broken, the outer case is 54.8mm in diameter with out the neck and the watch case is 47.2mm with out the neck and 23.3mm thick with the glass, this is a nice and old verge fusee pair cased pocket watch in solid silver cases  in good condition but not working, i am selling it sold has seen but needs attention,  please look at my photos and bid postage outside the UK will be extra.
