Wheels May 1953

Wheels is an Australian car magazine owned by “ARE Media” who acquired it in 2020. Wheels Magazine is sold in Australia and New Zealand only and was founded in May 1953 by Ray Yeomans. Since 1963 Wheels annually announces its’ “Car of the Year”, an award created by Bill Tuckey. Wheels Magazine is highly regarded by Australian and New Zealand car enthusiasts and makes for a great read, covering every aspect of car culture.

For sale is a For sale is a May 1953 40th Anniversary reprint of Wheels Magazine sponsored by Holden to celebrate the 40th Anniversary year of the legendary FJ Holden featuring the Alvis 3 Litre and the Morris Minor for 1953, along with an interesting in depth article on US Plastic Bodied Sports Cars. The condition I would describe as 9/10, excellent condition for its age. This magazine has some excellent articles for Alvis, BMC, Rolls Royce, Vanguard, Jaguar, Mercedes, Chrysler and Lincoln enthusiasts making it a worthwhile addition to your collection of motoring memorabilia.
