Quality Solid Silver Georgian Presentation Snuff Box

A truly Beautiful solid silver Georgian snuff box that is in excellent condition albeit 1 minor ding to the base & the hinge shuts nice & tight & hallmarks to the snuff box are clean & clear.

The snuff box has an inscription that reads

Presented to Mr James Devine by the Men in Messrs Huttons coach factory as a token of respect for his honourable conduct for the period of 13 years

19th may 1837

The snuff box has a beautiful oval shape design that looks exquisite & has bright cut decoration around the lid & the base that looks exceptional.
