The item is in good physical shape but, the blade needs a good cleaning to get rid of the oxidation that has built up on the cutting blade. The wooden handle is in excellent condition and free of cracks. The blade is straight and the teeth are free of any defects. This is a nice example of a Disston Back Saw.
