This wonderful, limited edition, Halcyon Days, enamel box, initialed "BB", has "Three Little Maids From School Are We", from Act I and a gold Asian themed border, on top.  Fan shaped scenes from the operetta and the signature of "Barbara Brown are on the side.  Inside is "GILBERT & SULLIVAN'S The Mikado first produced in1885 by the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company at the Savoy Theatre, London."  While set in the exotic locale of Japan, the operetta actually satirizes British politics and institutions.  The box has a diameter of 1.6" with a height of 1.75".  "Halcyon Days Enamels - England - Bilston & Battersea Enamels Revival" and "In an edition limited to 750 the number of this box is 434" are on the bottom.  It comes with the presentation case and information pamphlet.  PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE BOXES - I'LL BE LISTING  ADDITIONAL ONES LATER IN THE WEEK.   PLEASE CHECK BACK OFTEN.
