This auction is for an extremely rare comic convention program for the second Nova convention in Oregon in 1973.  As rare as this program book is, it is has remained virtually unknown to Dave Stevens fans because of its scarcity, but it does appear on Horror Mike's "Dave Stevens:  The Early Years," which is available on youtube.  Dave Stevens was 17 years old and turning 18 in 1973 and was living in Oregon and attending high school at the time.  This art was drawn and published long before his first pro work began to appear later in the 1970s and is absolutely one of the earliest published works by the artist.  

Condition:  Program book is complete with staples solidly attached.  Nothing is cut out. Some light stress to the spine.  Some age-related discoloration to the cover and small stain on back.   See scans.
