This listing is for a Heisey Glass #407 Coarse Rib celery dish that is 12 inches long, 4 3/8 inches wide and 1 5/8 inches high. This piece has a marigold color stain that was applied by an outside decorating company and according to the Bredehoft 1925-1938 book, the decorating firm called this treatment "Cathedral Glass". It really is a vibrant shade and not as deep a color as true marigold glass. This piece is in excellent undamaged condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. When viewed to a bright light source, I see very few faint scratches on the base, certainly typical for a piece from 1923-1937, and in better condition than most would be. It is marked with the diamond H in the center of the bottom as shown.
