SCARCE shape platter! Beautiful vintage Homer Laughlin ivory color serving platter (also known as meat platters) in the Century shape with a beautiful flowers and gold garland daisies decal around the edge.

This is the oval well (not the rectangular well platter) and this platter is without the lugs on the side - a harder to find century style platter - most of the platters made for both Century have the ribbed lug ends on the tray - this does not (we have many of the other kind of platter in the store)! A must have for Century collectors. This is the epitome of Art Deco Style, Simple Elegance, and highly desirable. 

This is a second selection piece which means it did not originally pass the first round inspection in the factory - this piece is in very good shape, and may be slight issues of warping that caused it to be second selection and then have the added decaling added to them. This is a a really beautiful platter!

Condition: Good preowned vintage condition. No cracks or crazing. Decal is beautiful, has some wear from handling and age. Glaze is shiny. Has two very small fleabites on the underside of the piece. Platter is warped upward more than others, makes it extra unique. Some minor handling / use wear. May have some other small factory production imperfections such as glaze skips, sand bumps, or glaze misses, all common from factory production. Great condition overall. See all pictures.
