Please examine photos for details on condition, it is worn as it is very old, but there is nothing that i would class as damage, the leather straps have snapped from wear and the rest is just worn from use. Still very solid in structure

It looks like it was on wheels so not set up as a rocking horse, but perhaps he could have a new base made
