BAZAR FRANCAIS ~ Early 8.5" Round Copper SAUTE PAN (#20) w/Tin Lining ~ France

Description of item...

Here we have a wonderful vintage quality copper round tin lined SAUTE PAN with a triple copper riveted bronze handle - made in France for BAZAR FRANÇAIS (666) of NEW YORK. The bottom is marked, "BAZAR FRANÇAIS ~ NEW YORK ~ "666"" and the size number "20" by the handle connection.

It measures approx. 8-1/2" in diameter (add 8" for the curved handle) x 2-3/8" side high (deep), can hold up to 64 liquid ounces (2 quarts)...to the brim.

It is in good to very good maintained (lightly used) condition with no dings or dents to the copper, no tin loss - minor tin darkening from less than normal use. It has not been polished since acquired showing a nice aged patina and luster, and is being offered in "as found" condition.

Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, circa 1950-70's. This item weighs approx. 2-3/4 lbs., add 2-1/4 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
