The item up for bids is a vintage silver bowl from the American Export Lines ocean liner company. It’s the perfect size for a dresser bowl for coins and small treasures. The bowl is heavy restaurant quality silver-plated holloware made by the International Silver Company. It is signed on the bottom AMERICAN EXPORT LINES / I.S. / INTERNATIONAL SILVER CO. / SILVER SOLDERED / 05102 / 51. It's a great piece of AEL ocean liner history, have some fun and bid!
Dimensions:
It's about 4-1/4” in diameter at the top and about 1-7/8” tall at the rim. It weighs about 6.3 ounces.

Condition:
It is in fair to good vintage condition. It has age appropriate storage and handling wear with scuffs, scratches, and dings. The silver plating is in fairly good shape with good shine. There is a dark ring on the inside bottom along the seam where the sides meet the bottom, and scattered dark spots on the silver. The silver has tarnish. There is a small dent on the edge of the foot. The pictures are the best indicator as to condition, please use the zoom feature and check them out.
