Designed by the gentleman who originally designed Luminox watches. IMO this is a better iteration of that design. The Marine Corp has adopted this model ProTek as their official watch. Bullet proof? Probably not. Tougher than the wrist it is on? Absolutely. I am the second owner, watch is not even a year old. Have another field watch which is solar so sticking with that one. OK - 300m WR, sapphire crystal with antireflective coating, Swiss ProGlo T25 tubes, 10 year battery, military grade carbon fiber case. By the way, the quality control of this company is excellent - second hand hit each indice dead on.
