this is amazing condition. The shade is original (I have seen other pictures of this lamp and it is the same shade on them).  It is a ribbed cream/ivory colored fabric and lined inside. The back side has a faint vertical line on one of the ribs, the front side has a shadow of a spot on it but you have to catch it at the right angle and know that it is there. 

The lamp itself, the left pillar has a few chips in the enamel paint as shown.  There is some yellowing of the enamel.

His bench has the manufacturer's name stamped on it JRVHL

I didn't use any metal cleaners on it.  The shade needs two regular light bulbs to clip on to.  We also showed a view using flame shaped candles in case you didn't want to use the shade.

This was purchased from an elderly couple's estate who were well traveled and bought what they liked along their travels.  No telling where they found this treasure.

This will ship in two boxes to keep the lamp from crushing the shade.  We are using 40.00 as a shipping cost for the continental US only because Ebay's shipping calculator runs high on larger boxes.
