BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE LATE 19th c /EARLY 20th c QI’ING DYNASTY CHINESE EMBROIDERED SILK POUCH, EXCELLENT HARDLY USED CONDITION!


Up for the auction is a beautiful antique from the late 19th / early 20th century QI’ING dynasty Chinese embroidered double- sided silk pouch in the rectangular shape.

Embroidered all through in brick stitches using multicolored silk threads and golden metallic threads using couching technique. The blue background is also a brick stitch embroidery executed in blue threads.

The embroidery features auspicious fruits, flowers, and a butterfly. 

Measures 4 2/8” (10.7 cm) x 3 2/8” (8.1 cm) wide.

Extremely finely worked pieces- just look at the pictures!

Condition: EXCELLENT, practically unused condition.

This embroidered pouch makes a beautiful display and will be a valuable addition to any collection!
