Wheels January 1973
Wheels is an Australian car magazine owned by “ARE Media” who
acquired it in 2020. Wheels Magazine is sold in Australia and New Zealand
only and was founded in May 1953 by Ray Yeomans. Since 1963 Wheels annually
announces their “Car of the Year”, an award created by Bill Tuckey. Wheels
Magazine is highly regarded by Australian and New Zealand car enthusiasts and
makes for a great read, covering every aspect of
car culture.

1973 edition of Wheels Magazine featuring a giant test comparison of Cortina Four
vs Cortina Six vs Falcon Six and a road test of the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow
along with an interesting piece on the Anidyne Rotary Engine for 1973. The condition I would describe as 9.5/10, excellent
condition for its 50 years age and an outstanding collectible. This magazine has some excellent articles for
the Ford, Honda, Daihatsu, Peugeot, Leyland and Fiat enthusiasts making it a
worthwhile addition to your collection of motoring memorabilia.
