this special vintage bag is from southern India andhra pradesh lambada banjara tribe.the bag is hand embroidered and the pattern of embroidery is chain stitch and the border has very fine reverse applique.  all the colors are natural dyes from stones and plants .these bags are dowry gifts given from bride parents to their daughter at the time of marriage.

its at least 40-50 years old.

its a two generation piece as one can see age difference in top and bottom embroidery of the piece
