Up for your consideration is one (1) Asahi Pentax 6x7 medium format camera body with its original prism, carrying strap, and front cover. The camera's film advance is smooth. The shutter dial snaps into place. The film advance lever action is smooth and rigid. The shot counter works. The shutter release works. The shutter curtain is in good shape. The mirror action works. When last used (several years ago), the light meter worked. Overall appearance of the item is excellent. The prism functions and has a serial number of 589482. A camera battery is not included in this auction. The only known problem with this item is as follows: Where a lens attaches to the front of the camera, there is a small chain underneath the periphery of the opening. This chain is broken. It seems that it would be a relatively easy fix. Lenses can still be mounted to the camera, but only after manually moving a slide, at the top of the opening, toward the right side of the camera.
