Very rare 58 mm matte chrome wrap around tip frame, issued to Air Force aviators in the 70-80’s. The wrap around tips are to ensure that the glasses do not fall off, no matter what. Frames go through an automotive quality detail, all hardware disassembled and cleaned, detailed nose pads, new lenses, detailed temple tips, and tightening and straightening all moving pieces. Notice how clear the markings on the frame are. The nose pads and temple tips are excellent. The frame rates a better than 9/10. The frames are the 58mm size rounded tip style temple arms, the larger size in the Randolph catalog (140 mm/5.5”), most suitable to a larger than average person. The frames are 5.75” wide. Please use that, with a pair of glasses that fit you well, as a sizing guide to make sure these will fit your face. Please do this before you bid. The temple arms are 160 mm(6.5”), and the rounded tips are a snug fit around your ears. The frames are straight and true, but please keep in mind that they are vintage(vintage means OLD) sunglasses.
