Die Klais-Eggert-Orgel
Die Disposition der Klais-Eggert-Orgel (50 Register auf III Manualen) enthält Elemente der Eggert-Orgel von 1900, wurde aber von der Or-gelbaufirma Klais (Bonn) im Jahr 2005 mit einer neuen Spieltechnik und einigen Erweiterungen eingerichtet. Die Tontraktur besteht aus einer Kombination von Mechanik und Pneumatik. Durch diese Kombination werden die Vorteile einer präzise ansprechenden und sensibel reagierenden Mechanik mit dem klanglichen Reiz der pneumatischen Ladentechnik kombiniert. Das Orgelgehäuse (Orgelprospekt) wurde von Ratzmann im Jahre 1837 erbaut. Originale Windladen von Eggert im Schwellwerk und im Pedal wurden durch neue, der pneumatisch ge-steuerten Technik aus dem Jahr 1900 entsprechenden Laden im Haupt- und Nebenwerk ergänzt, die. Die Registertraktur, wie bei Eggert ein pneumatisches Auslass-System, wird durch eine Setzerkombination unterstützt. Insgesamt klingen 505 Holzpfeifen und 2651 Zinnpfeifen (Summe: 3156 Pfeifen)

Charakterisierung

Die Orgel eignet sich hervorragend zur Interpretation deutsch-romantischer Orgelwerke. Von 50 Registern stehen 29 auf 16’ und 8’. Klares Fundament ist der gedeckte Untersatz 32’ aus Fichtenholz. Die Orgel besitzt einen großen romantischen Farbenreichtum. Einige klangliche Besonderheiten: Clarinette 8’ als durchschlagendes Register; kompletter Streicherchor mit Streichermixtur (Harmonia aeth. 4fach 2 2/3) im großen Schwellwerk (17 Register); zwei 16’-Register im Schwellwerk (Bordun und Gambe).
