This sweet country doll is made for display with your primitive displays. She would work well sitting on a shelf, on a buffet among other items, on a little girl's bed, or any other place of your choice.

She is made of painted muslin with stitched eyes, nose, and mouth. Her eyebrows are done with artist's pencils. Her hair is jute, , tied with tiny ribbons.

The dolly wears a wooly little dress and a petticoat made from very old fabric with a crochet edge. The petticoat fabric comes from a collection of very old table linens and doilies gifted to me from 3 of my nieces. Some of the fabrics are said to date back to the 1800's. Unfortunately, no one knows which ones. Maybe this one, maybe not. Her shoes are painted.

She stands approx. 13 1/2 inches tall.

The listing is for the doll only. The other items in the photos are for a suggested display.

The doll is made for display and is not intended to be a child's toy.

Thanks so much for stopping in!
