This late Edwardian stunner appears to be a garment made of elaborate jewelry! An amazing network of intricate black, gold, and silver beads and sequins creates a frame for delicate fishnet embroidery in all the colors of the rainbow interwoven with gold thread. Sheer almost throughout, a gorgeous black lace skirt has contrasting solid insert panel, and strands of beads and satin cuffs finish the dramatic full sleeves. A truly mesmerizing one of a kind antique gown for your collection!

Poor condition due to extensive tears in fishnet on the shoulders and front. Please view photos. Although fragile, this dress could be wearable as is with extreme care, and is a good candidate for clever restoration, as beadwork is almost entirely intact except tear on back of neckline (tenth photograph). Skirt is in very good condition with one panel having a few minor stains, and some scattered loose threads . Snap missing on one sleeve cuff. No closures on dress.
