*** Please be aware - the Tea jar has previously been quite damaged, assume dropped and broken into several pieces. It has been quite well repaired, at first glance I didn't see the damage when receiving into stock. All pieces have been glued back together, and feels strong. Most obvious from the inside of the jar, not visible from the front. ***

All wood lids have the original rubber fittings which have lost their rubbery-ness over time, so while the lids fit fine, they are not airtight. You can replace these rubber fittings if you wanted to, available on ebay to order.

Lovely looking vintage set, if you using the tea jar for tea bags, the cracks won't cause you any issues and you'll have a reduced price, great looking set for the kitchen.
