A Bachmann OO gauge 32-911 British Railways Class 108 3-car diesel multiple unit (DMU) comprising a power car, an unpowered centre coach and an unpowered trailer unit. The DMU is in dark British Railways green livery with grey roof, cream striping, white cab roofs and small yellow end panels.

The model is very well detailed and features windscreen wipers, rooftop detailing, under-chassis detailing, lamp irons, corridor connectors, exhaust smoke stacks, interior furniture for passenger accommodation with blue seating in 2nd class and brown seating in first class, some red no smoking labels and blue 1st class totem signs, some cab interior detail, yellow hub covers and destination boards showing Scarborough at one end and York at the other.

The model is in excellent condition with no marks or scratches. It is fully intact with all buffer heads and other detailing in place. There are coach couplings between the units and there are standard NEM pockets at the cab-ends for inserting couplings to extend the train if required.

On the track, it is DCC ready so just needs a decoder plugging in to be compatible with digital layouts. It runs well and in both directions but may benefit from a service. It is fitted with directional lighting including illuminated destination codes and twin red marker lights to the rear. These work correctly.

The DMU is supplied as a boxed set with three individual boxes with internal protective blocks for each unit as well as an outer sleeve to keep all the boxes together and a vanity card. There are no detail packs or instructions.
