A Hornby R2714 OO gauge British Railways Standard Class 4 4-6-0 steam locomotive and tender number 75005 in lined black livery with the early post-nationalisation BR crest on the tender sides.

The locomotive is well detailed and features sprung buffers, lamp irons, wire handrails, distinctive Riddles design features, lots of copper effect exterior pipework,  tender ladder, a very highly detailed cab interior and a shed code on the smoke box door (89D - Oswestry).

It is in very good condition with no marks or scratches to the livery though there is some dust that needs cleaning off. All steps, tender ladders, buffer heads and pipework is in place. There are no couplings but NEM pockets are in place for couplings to be plugged into. One piece of cab glazing is missing and two railings (left boiler and smokebox door) have detached at one end and need re-attaching.

On the track, it is DCC ready so just needs a decoder plugging in to be compatible with digital layouts. It has been tested and it runs very well and smoothly in both directions. It is supplied in its original Hornby box complete with interior protective packing elements and a vanity sleeve. There are no instructions or detail packs.
