Up for auction is a unicorn of a Tanzanite.  There are Tanzanites, and then there is THIS ONE.  Tanzanites can be found in many colors and price ranges, but color affects value.  If you want a larger tanzanite, you should not have issues finding one- if you want a better quality one, you would be hard pressed to find a better quality one than this.

A 'Vivid' saturation is very rare and represents less than 1% of the Tanzanite production. 

You can see the red flashes as you change angles.  This particular Tanzanite is AGL certified as 'VIVID'. You will get the AGL certificate along with an appraisal.

This is not a 'cruise ship' tanzanite, nor one that I consider a 'price per carat' tanzanite.  

Vivid tanzanites are 'pricey' and meant to be, but not this one!  If you want bragging rights and want the best of the best in a rare stone that only comes from one place in the world (Tanzania), then please consider this one.

This ring was selling for $8900 (4 years ago) - my ‘sale’ (purchased price) is included in the photos,  Just like everything else has increased in price, so has jewelry.  I paid about 1k more for the smaller vivid tanzanite in the picture about a year later.  

NOTE:  regarding the 2 VIVID tanzanite rings shown in the pictures,   I am only selling the larger one, i.e., the rectangular emerald cut Tanzanite/diamond ring.   Pictures 5 and 6 show the 2 VIVID tanzanite rings together, but this is to show the intensity of the color only.
